Rabbi Anna Gerrard

Anna served both Gloucestershire Liberal Jewish Community and Herefordshire Jewish Community from 2009 to 2019.  After a four-year hiatus, Rabbi Anna returns to serve as the permanent Lead Rabbi of the now-combined Three Counties Liberal Jewish Community.

She trained for the Rabbinate at Leo Baeck College in London and at Hebrew Union College and Machon Schechter in Jerusalem.  She has worked as the Outreach Director for Liberal Judaism and spent the last four years working as the Jewish Chaplain at Clifton College in Bristol.

Rabbi Anna is passionate about community building and lifelong learning. She is looking forward to leading services, teaching Learning Circle and Cheder, working with the lay leadership on community development and reconnecting with everyone across the community.

Rabbi Danny Rich will maintain his links to 3CLJC, visiting two weekends each year.
