Over 20 members of the community gathered for a group challah making event, organized by Lily and Claudia. We saw members of all ages breaking a sweat kneading their challahs, spilling their yeast and plaiting to perfection. Most of the group had never made their own challah before and couldn’t believe how easy it actually was to do, whilst Natalie joked that they would be added to a new monthly rota of making challahs for services. This was a wonderful event for all and sparked up an interest to something like this again in the future! What shall we cook up next?
